How unhealthy is clutchpop wheelieing?

I know its not too good for the gears/tranny/bottom end but is it doing serious damage???

The only issues I have ever had is with the clutch wearing out from slipping it, wear on the center of the tire from it spinning a little here and there. Other than that I will add a small amout of extra oil into the bike to be sure that the pickup can reach the oil so im not starving the bike of oil on longer wheelies. Just my .02

Once you learn how to do it right, it is no real strain on the tranny or clutch. I can pop it and be right at BP. The bigger issue is running cylinders dry on oil staying up in the air forever.

Or not

I'd say practicing clutch wheelies can be hard on the clutch/gears, but doing decent clutch wheelies is not so bad. If it's smooth you're just giving the motor a bit of a workout is all.

Oil starvation is a whole other issue.. I've never run a wheelie long enough to even worry about that.
