that was not his lid and it was an old Vega that had all the pads pulled and we spray painted white.

It is attached to the cross by a cable with a crush-clamp.

Anybody who would mess with a memorial is going to hell for sure.

His brother was with us when we placed the helmet and to support the family we made some stickers with a iron cross inside a sprocket (look in the pic on the top of the helmet). We are giving them out inexchange for donations to the family we had over $150 in donations the first day on just half of our 80 or so stickers. We also printed some pictures of keith and gave thoose to the family.

Man so young, sorry to hear the news. May he rest in peace. The memorial is really nice. A work of art there.

Hello, I ride by the memorial marker pretty regularly and always noticed the helmet at the bottom of the marker. The last few times I've ridden by, I noticed the helmet wasn't there. I saw the helmet today and apparently with the earlier snow fall or some other force, it had rolled down the hill from the marker. I was riding my FJR-1300 and had some cars behind me. I pulled off the side of the road and walked back to the site and put the helmet back under the marker. The helmet had Keith's name and many signatures of his friends and family. When I got home, I googled his name and found this thread on this gxsr forum. Every time I've ridden by that marker and saw the helmet, I always wondered who it was and now I know. I'm 58 years old and to think of someone so young losing their life is heartbreaking. From what I've read here, it appears that Keith had a really good family and a lot of good friends. I'll probably be up there again next weekend. I will get a cable lock and attach the helmet to the marker. Every time I go by that marker, it is a reminder to me to slow down a little and I'm sure it is to every other motorcyclist that goes by. I didn't know you Keith, but RIP my fellow rider. Peace be with you.

Very thoughtful.

Sad to hear of his passing at that young an age, sounds like he was a great comrade.
