Hey fellas! Been a while, a very long while since I've done a trackday. I'm no expert in tire psi nor suspension tuning, so bear with me. The past weekend I did a trackday at chuckwalla and was trying to figure out what tire psi to run on the Dunlop Q3 plus. Everyone that I talk to there was running at different psi. Some ran cold 30f/28r, 30f/30r, and 32f/30r. So I ended up running cold 32f/30r and check off the track hot at 35f/34r. My question is... is this normal wear, should I run a different psi and/or have suspension issue? Thanks in advance fellas!

Yup looks perfect to me. You can see it's gripping good, no tearing or scuffing, just normal wear.

^ What they said.

BTW 32F / 30 R is the Dunlop recommended starting point.

You've got feathering on the leading edge of the rain sipes. Probably give it 1/2 turn more rebound in the rear. Can't really see the front.

The icing on the cake was riding the S1000rr plust that saved me towing the trailer 700 miles.

This was my first time on NCM and it is as technical as the track map looks, plus plenty of elevation change. Between working on an exercise, on a new track, on an unfamiliar bike, my first two sessions felt so slooowww. Things clicked after lunch and finished up a great day.

At first I was disappointed they did not do the full track, but for the purpose of the class, the west course was the way to go. This track has been on my bucket list and I would not mind doing a track day there.

Yes, they take notes on the track.
