....and actually ride today? It's been a week since I installed a Sato slip-on, and I'd been dying to hear it outside my garage. So I bunbled up and ventured out in the 27 degree air. Conclusion: I love it! It sounds great. Very smooth and mellow.
I took my baby out too!! :bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce
Only for a couple of hours before my toes went numb...even in boots! But it was 38...so I was quite a bit warmer than you.
Lucky bastard  Id kill for a 72 degree day here....with NO rain that is. Seems the last few times we had anything close to that, it came with a heavy ass downpour :headshake The rest of the time, its been in the 30-40 range.
I've been riding most of the winter, with temps usually in the mid 20s when I go from job1 to job2 in the mornings. One thing that has made it a lot less horrible are the grip heaters I installed last month. My fingers still get cold if it's in the 20s, but not nearly as painful as they did a month and a half ago.
how do you like the sato ? i have the same pipe. only thing i don't like is the rivets don't seem very tight so you hear a bit of a buzz and Ive seen a few people who ride only at the track and their boot hits the pipe and breaks the weld
