yes, it think it would make it very hard to controll also. thats why I am also thinking this maybe a technique used in a different type of corner. like maybe the second half of a chicane when your not on the brakes at all but back on the gas varying the bikes speed to maintain the needed lean angle, say in a decreasing or increasing radius type exit, maybe here using both throttle and rear brake at the same time is what is meant. I can see how if your on the gas at lean dragging the rear may help extend that WB out just a bit more. just trying to wrap my head around the post to fully understand it.
