Ask the previous owner for the stock linkages.
Some aftermarket ones are adjustable to a certain extent.
If the forks are slid up mush in the triple trees, put them back to flush.
Also, some people adjust the preload (NOT a good idea btw), which will also raise or lower it some,
but it affects the 'sag'.
