Anyone who rides in jeans and tennis shoes is OBVIOUSLY a squid

Gladly, no one from here lives close to me to verify how much gear I wear daily. It happens...

NICE BIKE! Love the color

I can verify what he wears daily but it's not something I wish to remember so I try hard to block it from my mind

Speed & Strength Helmet, Tour Master riding jacket, Carhart jeans, and Chuck Taylors. Don't like it, don't ride with me, lol.

Been riding the same way for over 35 years... Not defending it, just setting it out there, lol.

Nice bike!

I wear nearly full gear, but I usually wear regular jeans. I plan on getting armored pants soon.

-80 degrees weather set:
-Scorpion EXO GT-920 Modular helmet
-Joe Rocket Atomic Ion jacket
-Speed and Strength Run With The Bulls 2.0 riding shoes
-Joe Rocket Velocity gloves
-33x30 Levi jeans

+80 degrees weather set:
-Scorpion EXO GT-920 Modular helmet
-Alpinestars T-AST Air Textile jacket
-Speed and Strength Run With The Bulls 2.0 riding shoes
-Joe Rocket Velocity gloves
-33x30 Levi jeans

I did buy some Bilt riding pants, but they are made for off-road riding, have no armor and no pockets. They flow air but get hot quickly as well. I like to have my wallet in my side pocket, not in my jacket pocket.

2005 K5 GSXR 600
-Fully restored and painted by myself
-Carbon fiber bar ends and levers
-Shinko Stealth 003 tires
-NGK Iridium Spark plugs

I like to make my posts more substantial. The easy way is not always the best way. Not to mention that was basically a copy and paste job with a little editing and the joke was about the Levi's in both situations.

I guess I am used to people being jerk-offs on forums. I had a bad experience on gixxer.com and thought you were a person from there.

I am sorry and I apologize. You are right....

Sick bike, never seen that color scheme in real life.

MOAR PIKTURES PLEEZ!

Your skin, wear whatever you want. I ride in dress slacks and nice shoes sometimes when riding to work..although I live only a few miles from my work and the route's max speed limit is 45.. :p

lol wraith, it was like playing a game of iSpy trying to figure out what changed in your riding setup.

Welcome to the site. I'm at work watching ECG tracings, I can't see your pics.
I'll check out this paint job when I get home.
Before I even see it though, I just have to ask, 'Do they sell men's bikes where you got that paint job?'

J/K, seriously, welcome to the site.
What, if anything, did you ride previous?
Enjoy

Todd

* Edit- clicked on allow thingy and just saw the pics. Is that the stock/OEM paint? Do they sell.....- J/K
I think I've seen only 1 other like it here in WI.
Nice paint- a manly bike for sure

Does anybody know the name of the part I’m looking for...it looks like a cover in black that links the oem back box of the exhaust that covers or joins to the rest of the exhaust??? Much appreciated for any help.. I want to put the original back on because I just don’t like the megaphone on it

Glad you like the bike! Mines an L1 with 14,000 miles and a few scratches but nothing serious. I like the GP1 exhaust the previous owner put on, but my wife thinks its loud. Neat how in 4th or fifth gear in town around 5,000 rpm it mellows out and is fairly quiet.
I wear almost full gear every ride, but i do save the Joe Rocket riding pants for longer trips. Oh well. My post is just below yours.

That stock heat shield looks sick AF with the M4 short pipe. When I bought my bike, the M4 was way too damn loud. I figured out that the silencer baffle had been removed, so I bought a new one and put it back in. It sounds so good now. It's not obnoxious but it's loud enough in the higher rev range to make my hair stand up, lol. Putting the silencer in also allowed me to be able to hear the intake growl that the GSXR is so well known for as well.

I hate those VooDoo pipes. There is no reason at all (imo) for a road bike to be that goddamned loud. It doesn't save lives; it pisses people off.

L2 GSXR 600

Oh, so I just twist this an....OOOOH MY GAAAWD!!!
