First post first super sport...

Hey there about to pick up a 2002 gsxr 1000 mounted to a 750 frame... Super excited only 15,000km. Insurance is about half. I'm out in niagara falls Ontario. Started on a ktm rc390. Moved onto a ninja 650 for two seasons now and finally to a liter bike. I've enjoyed feeling the different power levels.

Always wanted to join the gsxr Boyz. I'll ride this for a few years and see what's what

Also I've tried searching for Chinese fairing reviews... Now I know there's literly 100s of topics on this fourm about it but nothing was super recent. What's a recommended ebay store or website. I've searched a few companies but they appear to be fly by night.

Cheers

Eddy

Welcome and nice progression of bikes.

Yes, I'm sure the 1k in the 750 frame helps the insurance rates.

Pics of the new bike please?

Welcome.

I did a complete review with pics of NT fairings from Ebay/chinese for my K5 Liter within the last year.
They came with a decent stock K6 paint and graphics.
I sold that bike late spring with those fairings on it.
The post is on here somewhere, I'll look for it.

Ok, found it, here it is, check it out.

DAMN, that bike looked/rode good when I sold it!!

I suppose it is if you're an Icon-wearing FTP type of fellow.

Next thing you'll tell me is that the Back Street Boys are not popular anymore.

Ok so I picked the bike up for 1800 Canadian. It has hot body fairings which are not in great condition. Also fork seals are gone. New tires and ohlins dampener which is nice. Stock exhaust. Bikes been down but overall it's not too bad.it won't accept pics right now I'll try on the desktop tonight

ok so I've looked over the bike and damn... needs more work then I thought LOL. good winter project bike for sure. Now I'll admit right now I know very little about these bikes. the seller mentioned Hot Bodies fairings. the tail section was cut out so a wheelie bar could be installed..Im only looking to get a few years out of the machine LOL. It looks like I need a new tail fairing for sure. can someone tell me if these are stock fairings on the front? I noticed the flush mount LED turn signal Left side is out.. now I found these online https://www.hotbodiesracing.com/prod...urn-signals-2/ These are sold from hot bodies so im sure it will fit these fairings? I'm on the fence if I want to try and repair these fairings or go new Chinese like I spoke about.

Also im about to order the fork stuff. Ive searched online a decent amount and I should be good to go with W10 ?
Finally this is a GSXR 750 frame so fairings from a 600 or 750 would line up just fine? its my understanding 600,750 and 1000 fairings from 01-03' are all interchangeable.

This fourm is awesome tons of great information. Thanks again.
