Japanese sport bikes are extremely popular in Italy!
Ducati of course is also very popular, but also here people views Japanese as more reliable and less expensive to maintain.

Nice bike.

I believe we have the same view in the U.S. Whenever anyone asks about KTM, Aprilia, etc. reliability, I just answer "Well it's not Japanese".
