2014 GSX-R1000 Premium Color Special Edition?

During todays ride, my friend tells me he has his girlfriends 2014 GSX-R1000 Premium Color Special Edition, #50/100 in his garage in WI! I had never heard of this edition, and found this online.
He had said they made 100 of them, with 50 of them sold in the American market.
This paragraph supports that.

Found online:

"Suzuki was celebrating its 50th anniversary in America in 2014. To celebrate this, a Special Edition 2014 GSX-R1000 was unveiled by Suzuki at Indianapolis MotoGP. The 2014 GSX-R1000 SE was a limited production machine with only 100 available worldwide, 50 of which available in the United States. The SE was based on the 2012 revision of the GSX-R1000. Special features include:
Matte silver-colored bodywork with special graphics.
Polished and chrome plated frame.
Wheel rims are machined and polished, wheel spokes are finished with blue painted and clear coat.
Blue-anodized front fork adjuster, front damper bolt fork parts comp, chain adjuster, steering stem nut, rear swingarm pivot boss, brake lever, clutch lever.
Black-anodized front caliper.
Blue-colored and clear coated clutch cover, generator cover, engine sprocket cover, rear shock spring.
Polished and clear coated muffler, muffler cover and Black-anodized muffler end cap. Exhaust pipes are polished.
Polished and clear coated footrest guard.
Mat black swingarm.
Special speedometer panel design.
Special serial number plate.
Special Key fob.
Blue-colored fuel tank cap, headlight inner, drive chain, seat.
Black-colored radiator, oil cooler.
New S emblem with ridge line on the fuel tank.
New S emblem with ridge line on the front fork upper bracket.

The standard 2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 had changes from the 2013 mode apart from the paint job. It was available in these colors: Metallic Triton Blue / Pearl Glacier White, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray"

I tell him I've never heard of it, and to send me a text pic, so he send me this:

Pretty cool, he rides a nice, Orange 04 ZX10R

Have you all heard of, and/or seen one of these? At 100 units, I guess pretty rare.

K5 1000 - ECU Flash; Manual CCT, K&N, Yoshi Muffler, Ti Midpipe; Q3+ 190/55 rear; 520 chain -1/+1; GP Shifting

No, this is the first I've every heard of one.

I'm impressed that they went much farther than the normal "special graphics" to make it a special edition.

He said his girlfriend, before he knew her, had read about the special edition offering, and had to put 5K down to order it from a dealer. It took about 4 months to get the bike.

That’s a nice looking bike, I digg it! I never heard of one before today, none of my buisness but I can’t help to wonder how much more if any did it cost new to get and how much more if anything is it worth today? One of my favorite looking bikes is the 04 anniverserys 750’s the blue and white and they tend to ask a little more money than the average 750 04-05 I’m not sure there’s a official guideline on value they do look nice but other than a paint scheme there ain’t much special about them.

I agree Paul,

The only made 100 of them from the factory though, and this is #50 that was released to the US.
I don't see it making it worth that much more however myself. Just a unique numbered edition?

Seems like I have seen one once, but just figured it was the owner that 'pimped' it out with chrome frame, blue casings, and didn't think much more about it. I didn't inquire about it.
I will if and when next time I see it though.

It was factory Suzuki- so I thought I'd share with the group.
