New to me GSXR owner and Q3+ tire mileage question.

Hey guys just bought a used GSXR750 2007 a couple of months ago. Tires were squared off and dry rotted that just taking it home scared me.

Anyways I replaced them with Dunlop’s Q3+ and been googling to try and get the average life out of these specific tires to no avail. Everything I find is about the older Q3’s.

I was wondering if anyone here use these tires and how many miles you usually get out of them.

Some info on the way I ride, I mostly commute streets and freeway with the occasional WOT for fun, but nothing crazy. I also generally run between 34-36 psi in the front and rear. If I’m running wrong psi please let me know as well as this information isn’t on my bike and just pulled these numbers from the internet.downloader.vip/ccleaner www.happywheels.vip vlc.onl

You'll probably get anywhere from 3-6k miles on the Q3+. The correct tire pressure is on the sidewall, I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but I'd guess that it's probably between 36-42 psi so the pressure your running should be within spec. For your style of riding, I'd run close to the high pressure side since it will help you get a bit more millage out of them. Just what I've seen, I burn through tires about every month, so I'm running different ones each time and the Q3's are my favorite so far.

Depends a LOT on how you ride overall. Hard accel. and hard braking will obviously make the center wear out much quicker

Vader- Every Month? You animal LOL

Yeah, I got new tires this morning.
4500+ miles so far this year and it's been pretty cold so far. I did my 100 mile break in on new rubber tonight, felt pretty good, everything ran well except my left rear blinker. Gonna have to pull the rear fairing off and check the wires on it.

I just put the Q3+ on my L1 600 about a month ago. Went on vacation for two weeks so couldn't ride. So far they are scrubbing in nicely with just around 200 miles on them. The Dunlops that were on the bike when I got it last summer were squared of in the centers. The bike seemed to lean through turns fine below 50mph or so, but on the highway at 80 it was scary. The bike didn't want to lean over and crest those flat spots. What a difference with these new round Q3+ tires!!! I am running the tire pressures listed on my bike-. 36 psi front and 42 rear. I will follow this post as well, as I want as many miles out of these tires as possible!
