I will have to order under tail kit on ebay I guess then. My passenger bracket bent back and cracked the under tail so if I'm replacing the fairings I might as well get the under tail to. Anybody have any suggestions on where to get a good one?

It took about 4 weeks for mines to arrive. YES ! It does come with an undertail piece. Installation took several several hours. It being my first time taking every fairing apart.. I started at 830 AM and didnt finnish till about 6PM. With multiple breaks and beer runs in between. If i were to calculate actual work time, Id say about 7-8 hours.

edit, also came with rear passenger seat cowl and a dark smoke windscreen. bonus ! haha

Alright thanks Ryy. My bike is already stripped down so its just a matter of getting it put back on but i was counting on it taking a good part of the day so 7-8 hours sounds good. And thanks for the heads up on the under tail. I was getting ready to order one right before I read your post.

Right now theyre black. Im not sure what I want to do with the wheels yet.

I really want to find a way to setup the bike like with photoshop to see what it will look like. Anyone have the skills to do that? I saw one thread where they guy had it all whited out with red wheels.

I kinda thought about doing one blue and one white, But I would hafta see it first.

I too will probably be ordering from auctmarts.com. I sent them this pic to see if they could match the color scheme. I'd rather not paint my tank if I don't have to.

We'll see what they say. I'm glad I found this thread, I was doubting the way these fairings would fit but they seem to be well received.

I just ordered my set tonight. I asked to make a couple changes: put the 750 decal on, and color the front fender the same dark blue thats on the bike instead of black. We shall see, I'm very excited.

I'm about to be pissed at auctmarts... I just asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. Of course I won't hear from them till Monday I'm sure...

When I ordered my fairings I put my current address (north Carolina)in for the shipping. My billing address is in Texas, where I'm from. They said they cannot ship to NC because it is not my confirmed address.

I called PayPal and they assured me that if the address I want the item shipped to was listed before the purchase was completed than it would still be protected.

Anyways, so now I need to go through the trouble of changing my billing address with BofA. I can do it online but it says it can take up to 2 weeks to show on my billing statements. FU*K!

I try to tell auctmarts the situation and they ask me to send a copy of my drivers license. I'm military. I keep my TX id. So I have nothing but my orders to show that I'm stationed in NC. I'm sure as hell not sending them that.

Finally I get my credit card to show a confirmed NC address with PayPal. The same one that was on the original purchase order. I tell them to confirm that they see the address is correct, they email me back sayin they need to confirm the order with their manager. Email them again Monday.

And all the while I've been asking them if they could paint the front fairing blue instead of black and put the 750 decals on the tail sections. They have never said anything about if it's a problem.

ur upsett but the blame is entirely on u. had the correction to confimed address been taken care of prior to order u would of had no problems. its papals way of 0 risk factor to protect both u and supplier.

Be prepared to spend some time enlarging holes, and wrestling with them but they'll look great once they're on.
