I understand the risk factor, But with the military its not always easy or convenient to change everything everywhere you go. I am and ALWAYS will remain a Texas resident. If the shipping info is on the original order, why does it matter if its confirmed or not. Paypal themselves said its still covered.

Not really happy with them right now.I was told that a week and a half ago my kit was supposed to ship, then last week he told me that my kit would ship early this week (Monday Tuesday or Wednesday).I've heard nothing, last night i sent them a email and for the first time ever they didn't respond....i guess i have no choice but to wait ,but if they don't come soon i'm going to have to reschedule my advanced safety class which would suck balls.

Ok, a little status update on my order. After showing them pictures of my bike to match, they checked with me what color I wanted the SUZUKI lettering on the side fairings. I replied with a picture of my fairings, saying that I wanted the lettering white. A week or so later, they send me a picture of the fairings all painted and finished. The side fairing lettering was silver, not white. They offered to repaint them and I accepted. The customer service has been good, I just wish they painted my order the colors I requested from the beginning.

Other than that mix up, the picture they sent me looked great. I will follow up when I receive the order.

Their Pics:

One last thought, although they respond as quickly as they can, its kind of a PITA because they are on the other side of the world. Any time you ask them something or comment, it takes them a full day to get back to you. If you are going to order from them, make sure you have a ton of time. Luckily I am not in a giant rush.

Bump.
Thought I would bring an old thread back. I am looking into ordering from them. Is there name still good? I know 2 years can be a long time and sometimes businesses can go down the drain fast.

These guys did a awesome job for me. I even had them make a race style track fairing. Very good customer service. Responded to All my emails and have me updates. Only thing that kind of bothered me was I was talking to like 3 differ t people. But that's ok. Fairings turned out great. Until I destroyed them that is. But yah.

I just ordered a complete track fiberglass kit from these guys pre painted will post up when it comes for sure in case anyone is thinking about making their purchase. The kit came to $709 with a FULL tank cover which I've never seen on a gsxr but am looking forward to seeing how it looks.

The guys there responded to emails within 24 hours.

I'm "New" here..... I am looking for replacement fairings. The previous one I had were from Auctmarts. I had poor fitment, poor paint and even though I used heat shield the lowers on my 2004 GSXR600 have warped/bubbled. I was NOT happy. I only put 2200 miles on my bike last year too. The year previous only about 1000. I had mine for a couple of years though as I put them on in the Winter. Was not happy with the fit or finish.
I saw in another thread they had an "Offer" but besides not being able to reply because of being a new member, they don't offer the scheme I am considering and I would be skeptical about them claiming the product is better than previous fairings. They certainly look great though.
Any other fairing companies I can consider that others have had better luck with or does anyone feel Auctmarts should have another chance at getting my business?
Thanks guys

There are a few by that name. Maybe try this: in FB, search @ 2WHEELSride - comes up with Jimmy. Looks like the right person.

There's not much info on the fairings though. Does he make them or buy from somewhere else and paint them nicely?

Is it June yet?

I didn't see much either.... Numerous vendors on eBay though.... so much looks the same as the next guy. Don't want to end up with another cheap set of fairings like last time.

2WHEELSride is the correct person. Green Kawi 636 as his profile picture. I've never seen a bad thing posted about his products, perfect fit too. If I was ordering, that is where I would go at this point. Does custom jobs too. I don't know if he does them himself or orders them.

I'd consider taking them up on their offer too..... just would hope that the "Newer" product is much better than the one I had gotten. But then again, the one they are offering isn't something I would be interested in as I would want something closer to the "Stock" look.

I think people are starting to lose track of the issue at hand.
Their customer service was the issue in dealing with an exchange for some peices that the customer (New York) wasn't happy with.

Not necessarily that their quality has somehow changed for better or worse over all these years.
These are NOT oem quality and they have never tried to pass them off as such from what I have seen.
These are an option for people who want new plastics but do not want to pay oem prices.

I just put a set on my K7 durring the same time New York was going through all this.
I am a happy customer. I got exactly what I was expecting.

The plastic seems more brittle. They don't fit perfect. They scratch easy ect. ect. All the same things everyone has said for years.

However, I did not have to deal with any exchange or missing pieces.

There were a few minor imperfections here and there. Nothing major. I had to work on a lot of tabs and things to get them to fit the best I could. I took my time putting them all together. I pre-fit everything and sanded/shaved down some tabs. Opened a few holes.

In the end. After It was all said and done she looks fantastic.
She got complemented before but now I swear she gets complemented no stop.
I know the plastics dont fit perfectly and have some imperfections but to everyone else they just wouldn't know any different.

When it comes to mechanical, electrical, performance mods, I go with the best quality I can afford.
Plastics, which are mostly cosmetic (besides aerodynamics) I went the cheaper route.

$400 vs $1500+ for all new bodywork that make your bike look like its almost brand new isn't bad IMO.
Thats a helmet. A jacket. Some good boots. I think my PCV was $350. It's dirt cheap.

Customer service is where I think this company should be putting all their energy. Not free fairings for forum members. Not dammage control on customer feedback.
Honestly not even necessarily quality of the product. But treat paying customers with top notch customer service.

I also don't think that Johnny Sportbike getting a free set of fairings because of New Yorks bad customer sevice experience is very fair to other members here (like myself) who paid full price for fairings and got what they were expecting. Or does it fix the problem at hand. (The customer service of dealing with parts that are shown to have visible unreasonable dammage, or missing.)

Well said my friend! I have even said that I always heard pretty good things about their street fairings, but I never heard much about their glass.

I will add, and have said before, that their fiberglass does not feel like any other race glass I've seen. When compared with my boys armour bodies the Auctmarts stuff is thicker, a lot more brittle, less flexible and cracks very easily.

I'm glad that I was able to make an impact on this company for the better, to hopefully save someone else from going through what I endured.
