I just bought my first bike a couple months back. I am getting it ready for next season and did not know direction to go towards.
First off, for the winter, I will be putting it on pitbull stands and winterizing it. I will be buying a hybrid dual lift stand from pitbull, a spooled forward handle rear stand, and 8mm delrin spools for the bike.I will use the stands for the winter with the delrin spools but these are just for storage. I was not planning on using them for actually riding.
While it is sitting for the winter, I also wanted to put protection on it for next season. I was interested in getting shogun frame sliders. Then, I was on another site and I was reading some stuff on full protection kits and realized that shogun also makes a full protection kit, well what they call a protection kit. This includes bar ends, frame sliders, and swingarm spools. The full protection kit is a no cut kit though so it would have adapters for the frame sliders. I have heard the cut kits are more durable if anything ever happens. I have seen that there are also front axle sliders.
I do not know what all I need for protection. Should I go with just frame sliders or should I get the protection kit or should I get the protection kit and also front axle sliders? Do I need anything else for protection of the bike or would anyone recommend a different company or direction to take this in?
This is the link for the protection kit I was thinking about

I have a 2007 gsxr 600.
Thanks for the help.
