Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade the current speakers as they are tosh.

If it is possible then does anyone know what to use?

I mean, yes. Easily? Idk. They don't look like they come off.

So you could find the impedance on the speaker coil and wire in better speakers yourself.

Based on experience (I fixed radios in the Navy) the issue is likely a small amp size and the speaker arrangement. Flat speakers suck. Laptops, cellphones, pocket sized Bluetooth speakers, etc. it has to do with the dynamic range and the limited movement of the coil. Most are piezo speakers, and don't have actual woofer cones. Not sure how much bigger you could go in that helmet though. In-ear is likely the best bet in helmets until something changes with the tech.

Or bone conductive speaker systems. But they don't transmit highs very well. Great for speech and dubstep. That's about it.

These are the best for high noise environments, and they don't sound too bad either. A bit bass-y but no worse than Beats. They're actually an earplug with a headphone stuck in it, they rate about 20db. Not sure if that's official though. You literally have to roll them before you stick them in your ear like regular earplugs. They're high quality foam, with some sort of plastic outside so they wash off easy. Unlike regular "foamies".

The reason these piezoelectric speakers in these work so well is that they move the air in a tiny tube and pipe that right in your ear. With the tight seal in your ear, tiny movements will sound amazingly loud. The same driver used on a flat speaker that has to compete with wind noise just can't keep up.

I have some Sony ear buds that sound like home stereo speakers, they rock.
Got them for about 45.00 USD
Regarding ear buds, you get what you pay for.

My father left this Earth for Heaven 5/22/18.
I love you dad, you'll be greatly missed.
I'll always keep on keeping on.

Yep. Usually. Cnet actually rated them as part of the top 5 for under $50. I have them, beats, and some $200 turtle beach headphones. I honestly can't tell much of a difference. A little less muddy maybe. Better highs?

But I don't cry if my Plugs get trashed or left on a rig. Lol.

Just a suggestion though, in case you didn't have any. Or you wanted a pair to cut up and solder to your Sena.

Edit: Just realized my link never made it in there.

Ooo that is actually a good idea. I've seen people soldering on speakers from another headset. So may have to give that a go.

I noticed CNET dropped the rating on them, entirely based on their comfort. Seriously. Never had the tube bother me. Unless I didn't roll them before sticking them in my ear, like the directions say...

I don't like their new headphone reviewer. The reviews seem to be 100% based on price now. Lol.

I updated mine two years ago, so I don't know if it's possible now.
