I have a 2000 GSX-R 750. I want to "kick it up a notch" by installing a sprocket kit. I really want to swap in a 1000cc motor but I buddy of mine that has rode for a while recommended that I get a sprocket kit if I want more "punch" out of my bike. What kit should I get? I'm already sure I want a RK 520 chain, what kind of sprocket set though? Anodized aluminum, -1 front, +2 rear? Who's a reputable manufacturer? Anyone have any experience with this or can you recommend a shop to buy from?

-1,+2 is the most common. i started with -1 (minus 1 tooth up front) and was extremely happy with it for only about 25$. then wanted a little more and got a +2 in the rear (two extra teeth in back) and love the combo. a lot of people youll read who go more like -1 +3 arnt too happy with it. .because of the high rpms at cruising. if you put a -1+2 on your 750 it will roll out pretty good and you will notice a night and day difference. youll want a steel front sprocket and an aluminum rear sprocket. . good companys are Vortex, Supersprox and driven
