hey guys I have made the decision to get an 01-03 gixxer 750 or 1k...im leaning towards the 750 cus its a lil less crazy and just as good in every department except top speed which doesnt bother me. I have sat on a '03 600 and 03' 750 and noticed the 03 750 is bigger but not a huge amount...the only way i would lean to buyin the 1k is if it is noticably bigger than the 750's frame but i heard they are just about the same. Can some1 toss me some facts on the subject thx. being 6'1 with long arms and riding a 600 gixxer quite a bit i noticed that i def need somethin a lil bigger which is why i am having this problem

Bro, the difference is millimeters IF any. The 01-03 600 & 750 are EXACTLY the same bike as far as frame goes (swingarm is braced on the 750). 01-03 600 & 750 can share all cosmetic parts and tank, 01-02 1000 can share alot of parts as well. The difference may be in the 1k, I think a couple of cosmestic parts don't attach the same as the 600 and 750. I could be wrong though and that all the cosmetic parts fit from the 1k could fit the other two. I think there's a pyschological issue here. You can swap out motors and frames between the all 3.

Don't adjust you to the bike, adjust the bike to you. You "think" you are too big for the 600 as far as comfort goes. You're dead wrong here. I constantly switch between my 02 600, my friends 02 750, and my other friends 01 & 02 1000. They are the same bike. Get some aftermarket parts to make the bike work for you. Adjustable rearsets and adjustable clip-ons is all you need to make it work.

The best color scheme is the 02 600 in yellow/black or the 03 600 in black/silver. Like I said, you can always swap.

Good Call. The 750 and the 600 are exactly the same, as you said, except for the brace in the swingarm, and the inverted forks. The 1000 frame is close to the same size, but the motor mounts/brackets are different. Other than that, the cosmetics are all interchangable.
