can anyone tell me if the rear seat from a '01 gsxr 600 will fit on my '01 750? the wife wasn't happy i bought it but even less happy when she found out it came without a rear seat.

Yes the Rear seat that replaces the rear cowel will fit. That year those bikes are identical except for the 600 had no Braced Swing Arm, The 600cc Engine, No factory steering Damper and the front forks are different other than that everything else is the same.
