Hey Guys,

Have a problem with my gsxr not starting. My battery is new, lights are bright, the FI seems to kick in, when I press the starter switch it makes a weird short winning noise then stops. I keep pressing it and it makes that little noise every time but doesn't start. It happened to me before but after a few minutes it started again. Could the fuel pump or starter be going out? Could anyone tell me where the clutch switch relay is located at? so I can try to clean that maybe. Thanks ahead.

The starter relay is under the seat, the clutch safety relay is in the fuse box located near the right clipon.

From the way your discribing it, it sounds more like the starter clutch than the starter. You can try removing the cover on the right side of the bike and see if it's just jammed up. Sometimes you can free it by putting the bike in gear and trying to push the bike forward and backward. Or unscrew the crank access cover and turn the engine over to try and get the gears to line back up.

Ya I started her today and she just fired right over no problem trying it over and over again and she fires. Most of the time it starts, this has only been the second time it didn't start. It's like I have to leave her only alone for awhile because she doesn't want to ride at the moment like it's that time of the month or something.
