If anybody remembers, a while back, i put forks from an 04 600 on my 03 600. It looked good untill i tried to put plastic on there, and then i realized that the 04 forks are shorter than the ones off of the 03. I could carve the fairing a little to make it fit, but i don't know what else is going to be affected, has anyone done this before?? Am i screwed and need to get 03 forks, or what.. I would like to see if anyone has tried this before.

Update, i got the plastic on there and while the bike is sitting there it doesn't rub. And when the shock compresses, i will have more clearance. Like when i hit the many potholes in our fine MO roads. But when you lift the front end, the tire hits the fairings. I don't know what to do for sure. No one has seen this done before??
