I bought a set of sharkskinz fairings for my 1000, and I need a projector light to mount up on the nose, now i can't find projector beams anywhere, my question is, would I be able to buy a 04 headlight with the projector inside it and dismantle the entire headlight and use just the projector...Thanks for any help....

I would think you would have better luck getting the projector headlight. Where have you looked for the projectors? Try indysuperbikes.com or kneedraggers.com or parts411.com and see if you can find them there.
