I just picked up my 03 gsxr 600 about three weeks ago and I started the ebay orders. One of them would happen to be a complete front end with calipers off a 05 gsxr 750. I used washers to space out the calipers for now so I can roll it around, until I get spacers made or 05 rotors swapped in. Im going to try to load the pics, please dont get mad if i fail... lol

well thanks... Is this a problem you encountered or does this seem to plague all k4-k5 gsxr 600 owners. From what I could tell or read I was under the impression that these forks (showa) are one of the better forks for there time? I could be wrong, I guess I'll find out myself.... Thanks for the encouraging post though.

hey, if anybody knows and reads this, can you tip on what other year 750's you can put on a k4 600? hey man, what'd you pay for your front end? i read somewhere that the 02 750 was one of the best front ends suzuki ever made....not sure how accurate that is but that's what i read.

hey, maybe you or somebody else knows though...is it true that 750 forks are black and 600's are gold? or is it just color?

Yeah see that's what I figured or else I would of heard from all the other 04-05 owners complaining about how bad the forks are. Plus you have to take into consideration how many miles are on them and how many hard landings from wheelies. :bounce

Well, I only ever did one wheelie and it was an accident. It felt like the front wheel was at least 45 feet in the air to me, but it was probably only about 3 feet up...

As for the color, I think it depends on the years in question. In 05 I think they were gold for both the 600 and 750. In 06 the 600 had gold and the 750 had black. Since then I haven't kept up, but it would be easy enough to check on suzukicycles.com if you were really keen to know.
