Hi everyone. I’m having an issue with my bike stalling. I took the bike out for about a half hour ride. On the way back home I noticed on acceleration it was delaying on my throttle response. It was jerk and than accelerate. Soon after my bike started to lose power than shuts off.

Lucky I was close to home and was able to start it back up but it died soon after. After a few tries I was able to ride it on basically right down the street. I parked it up and let the bike run while not riding it. It shuts off after a couple minutes.

The gas light is not on but could it be bad gas from winter storage?

Any ideas?

Have you made sure the battery is fully charged (simple stuff first), and is charging when engine on?

How low is your fuel level? Did you add any stabiliser over winter with a full tank?

Shine a torch into the tank and have a look for signs of rust.

If it’s just bad gas or crappy ethanol fuel that has absorbed some water over winter, you could drain the tank and refill with some fresh “go juice” and see what happens. Might be worth a shot of seafoam to clean the fuel system out.

Thank!! I think it was bad gas. Replaced it with fresh gas and it seems to have fixed the problem. Air filter (knn)is also dirty so cleaning it and will try and ride it tomorrow.
