i want to buy a full exhaust for my 08 gsxr 600 but cant really seem to come up with the money...i was wondering if welding a straight pipe from the header to the yoshi slip on i have would be a cost efficient way to gain a little performance. i intend on throwing in a power commander kn filter and a chain and sprocket kit. let me know what you guys think

check him out...does good work. he also makes a full system (actually stock but but has a mid pipe welded in..and he gives you 65 bucks back if you send him your stock stuff.)

get an '07 slip on, cut the weld where you cat is attached to the header and it installs just as it would with an 07
