So I found a new bike already...

Should I buy this really nice, clean 1999 GSXR 750 SRAD or keep looking for a newer bike?

I'm not looking for incredible speed anymore I got that out of my system when I had my K1 750, I just want a nice reliable bike that I can take on long trips and things like that.

So if you have this gen of GSXR let me know what pros and cons you have with it.

The dudes only selling it for $2700. I think that's a good deal considering people have said the bike is still worth around $4k.

I'm a big guy, and my 98 750 was the best bike I ever had. It was super comfy, and fast. And LOUD as hell. haha I like it, but I will say I also love my 03. 2700 is a steal btw, I paid 2750 for my 98 and it had around 12k on it, with full yoshi rs-3, new rubber, fender elim, and flush mounts.

Does this gen of bike need a lot of regular valve work or any adjustments like some older bikes?

Lol, I had mine adjusted when I got it, they were a bit chattery, I unfortunatel totalled it about 5000 miles later, so I'm not sure as to what kind of schedule it would have been on.

Dudes name is Steven Fawcett and I emailed him and asked for a contact number to talk about the bike before we go any further so we'll see.
