So I have been ridding for about two years straight and 4 on and off I say on and off cuz i went through periods where I only rode loners.

Anywho in that period of time i never once recieved a ticket. In fact my last ticket was when i was fourteen and I got into an accident with a cop on my Dad car but thats not my story my story is my first ticket on a motorcycle..

I reside in Huntington Beach here in Cali and i often ride down Beach and PCH I often ride in packs and never get any grief from cops... Well like three sindays ago a group of fifteen and myself went out for a ride that started in Anaheim we went towards PCH and for some reason headed towards Long Beach ( Im used to going the opposite way) I thought nothing of it cuz ive done so millions of times at all times of the day. This was my second time ridding with these kids and I didnt really trust them as the were not organized at all pulling all kinds of stuff on the street... ( The First time I rode with them a cop almost took me out He's fault of course) We came to a stop signal on PCH and Main and about a block ahead there was a motorcycle cop writing a biker a ticket. He was turned away from us, And these kids thought he wasnt watching.... we were spread out through three lanes in the very front.... Suddently and I still dont know why the guy next to me takes off while we still have a red and cuts accross all lanes to make a right turn to a small street...Guess what they all followed and I was stupid enough to do it too... RETARDED!!!! i was in the middle lane... we went for about a mile and all of the sudden we had unmarked police cars in front of us blocking us in and bikes too!!! and the cop that saw us rounded us all together..... (BTW there was a chopper over us too) I guess the cop saw all we did and called it in and took off after us..... We all got tickets though the cop once we stopped was really relaxed and cool... he gave all of us a huge break no moving violation just fix it tickets..... I got it for the rear reflectors i didnt have and my rear tires thread was un safe.... it was pretty much that was for all of us... the cop said he would have pulled us over anyway once we went past him...

So the Moral of this story.... PUT THE LITTLE RED REFLECTORS ON thats the easiest way to get a ticket $25 buck you dont need to spend....... And dont ride PCH in a group 90% chance of a ticket....;):arsenal

I do a similar ride...except I start out on PCH and the 133 and ride up to HB. Never had any issues with the police either but I don't ride in groups. I've been lucky and haven't been hassled for my missing markers.

I think the real moral of the story is that cops need something to do. Unmarked cars and a chopper? Did you just rob a bank while you were at it and forgot to tell us? That is ridiculous, complete misappropriation of taxpayer money and a waste of fucking time ontop of that. God cop stories make my blood boil.

Goddamn, I feel EXACTLY the same way. My one and only speeding ticket was for going 71 in a 55mph zone, and I was clocked by an airplane....happy thanksgiving day. I wonder how much it cost taxpayers for a liscenced pilot, jet fuel, runway, etc. for some as$hole to fly around all day.

They're just little red reflectors that come on every stock bike off the showroom floor. Everyone takes them off when they relocate the license plate or do a fenderectomy.
