i have a 06 gsxr-750 completely stock besides a slip on exhaust, everytime I go to prime the fuel pump it makes a click,click,click,click sound from the rear end while the fuel pump is priming and wont start but will crank over fine has a charged battery. any help would be great.

Is the clicking in the back right tail piece? If so, that is the EXCA valve actuator and it is failing. However, it will not cause the bike to not run.

Are you sure you hear the fuel pump "prime"? The STVA actuator cycles at the same time so it is confused with the pump sometimes. Put your ear to the tank and double check.

Could also be the FP relay clicking on and off. Overdraw on the pump undervolting the rest of the system, causing the ECM to reset, causing the relay to reset.... .never ending cycle.
