2008 GSXR 1000

If someone could help bike runs with rough idle and Mrs really bad until accelerating past 8000 RPMs then it seems to clear up could that be my fuel pump

I would think it would run worse at high RPM if the fuel supply was the issue, you need to supply more fuel & things go south. I would start with determining which cylinders are not firing and checking all the plugs. Get it idling and warmed up then spray some water on the headers. The ones that flash off are good. Check the wires and plugs for those cylinders. The real tech Gods will be along shortly but this will keep you busy till they do.

Isn't 8000 about when the second injector kicks in?

^ What they both said. Best guess is a faulty primary injector.

I'm assuming it pulls hard from 8k to red line.
