Yes, the new R1 is d-shiznit. The crossplane crankshaft and firing order is off the hook. I recently rode one also.

guys, i have to say that my gixer 1000 screamer spit me off a few weeks ago. too much power for a chick but i did ride the new r1 last weekend and got stopped for speeding!!! I was doing 58 mph out of a 15mph corner. you guys have to check out the motor in this thing... it is a all new ballgame. you can see pics and review here: http://www.ultimatemotorcycling.com/
