I recently put on a brand new basically full exhaust (no cat to slip on) and first couple times I started it an rode it around no real problems then I start it up for my 3rd ride with the new setup and I get a puff of smoke only lasts for like 2 seconds. didn't think much of it mainly cause it was a little cold like 40f out, did a quick little ride when I went to start it again to come home and a puff of white/blue smoke came from it. I don't ride the bike like I'm racing everywhere I haven't even gotten it up past 11k rpm yet so what could cause this.

white could be condensation especially at 40 deg and only lasting 2 secs.
blue is more a sign of oil. If it lasts only a second, maybe nothing.

on the other hand if its a brand new bike, you might want to have the dealer service look at it in case it becomes a problem

I also forgot to note it has an ECU flash would that possibly make the bike smoke in start up to

Sorry, I think you've dragged a ring out of place by using too many revs before they've bedded in, or your ECU flash has done something.

Was there a problem with the bike needing the ECU flash?

I had to get an ECU flash because I have a full exhaust system and I feel like if I dragged a ring there would be tons more smoke
