bikez.com have every year showing different HP's. Are these accurate or are they just user submitted?

What makes the difference?

I have a 99 engine but carbs from the 97 that was originally on the bike (long story that I don't even know it seems )

Just wondering because I need an intake cam and I'm wondering if there is any difference in the different years.

Right... but is that what makes the hp difference?

Is that relevant to me needing an intake cam?

i would assume thats what makes up the power difference and i would also guess that the cams are different between the carbed and injected engines

Almost all of the torque/power specs listed on Bikez are just randomly submitted dynamometer runs, which can vary bike to bike and dynamometer to dynamometer more than year to year. Suzuki doesn't publish horsepower and torque figures for it's bike motors.
