After having ridden this thing a few hundred miles, I'm starting to notice just how uncomfortable that seat is. Are there any aftermarket options to solve this ass killing problem with this year bike?

Gel seats...tape a pillow to the seat....buy a katana......get used to it, i got the same bike (98) you get used to it after a while get off every now and then and walk around

thats how my 01 600 is too...as well as pretty much every bike. Just something you'll have to deal with. you can slide over and sit on the side of your ass, that helps for a while. Nice bike by the way....very clean

I had corbin, on my superhawk before, but it wasn't comfortable at all I kept my stock seat on the bike. I would say get used to stock one.

A friend of mine has a 99 ,got a gel seat and he is happy. I got an 04 I put 2k miles and don't think I need one. good luck bro

rode a friends bike that had gel seat, very comfortable and reasonably priced, check out oneidasuzuki.com i think that site has best deals for seats around 100 or so

the only time my ass ever hurts is if i havent been riding in a long while,kinda like riding a horse,youll be a tad sore,it goes away and youll never notice it.

Hell most of the time i'm not even on the seat, I just slip to the front and I'm dangling with my ass cheaks hanging out both sides heh.
