So I'm guessing you had no luck finding out who stole your bike then. But yeah, anyways that bike looks super clean and it's a great deal. I say go for it

No, no idea who took it. I have a a thousand guesses but no solid leads, well i bought the bike. Printed up a bill of sale had the guy sign it and put a $500 down payment on it, gonna go pick it up Friday.

You guys are insane!

Thats NOT A GOOD DEAL!!

I just got a K6 600 with 1,300 miles in 100% flawless condition for $5300 and that is not an unheard of deal. I could show you a K7 600 with 3500 miles and a like new jacket and helmet, includes lojack, for $5800 in my city its on craigslist.

Bikes are selling for 1k below kbb now adays with the bad market.

That bike should be selling for $5700 no more

Sounds like a good deal. I have a friend who purchased a K7 GSX-R600 in blue/black, all stock aside from sliders and fender elim., with less than 2800 miles, paid $6,300 --- as such, I can't say it is a steal of a deal but it is certainly a good deal.

Put your old plate on and just cruise home safely. You'll be fine, I've done it before a bunch of times getting my bike in and outta storage.
