Im kinda new here, ive posted here before but not i for quite some time. ive got an 88 1100, i found a Yoshimura +3 ignition advancer for my bike for cheap. I was hopin someone here could tell me how hard it is to change and if i really need any extra parts besides. and if its worth doin.

Not to hard to do, but you will need a gasket in addition to the part itself, and I believe you will loose a significant amount of oil too, so an oil change is in order.

On most bikes it is pretty easy, and the advancer should have instructions anyway.

with the right jetting and the ignition advancer it can make a significant difference.

You should be able to tip it on its side enough to not loose any oil, but if your in the need of an oil change just drain it before you take the cover off. Its pretty simple.

retail on them is around 30-40 and you should be able to get them at any shop.
