Hey guys, this may be a stupid question...but where do you buy your battery from? online or just go to a store?

I had my battery connected to a tender the whole winter, I tried to start the bike, it turned over a few times but then seemed like there was no more juice (even though lights were on). Then i jump started it from my car and the bike started right up. Sounds like bad battery right?

I think it's still the original = 2004.

check the charging system on the bike to be sure its working properly... almost five years....more then likely the battery needs replaced.

i heard that some stores can test it and tell you if it is bad....

yes they can indeed, i dont trust a bike battery after its 3 years old max...preventative maintenance on my part sorta speak. dont like getting stranded..

i just had to buy a battery and walmart is the bout the cheapest route that i found:thumbup:
