So I got the c28 code on my 2004 GSXR, after fixing my fuel system.
When my bike is at idle, the STVA is very loud. Pulsating knocking sound.
After riding for 40 mins, my FI light would come on.

I will go through some tests, but want to hear what you guys have to say. Specifically for the 2004.

cheers

Did you remove the stva at any point from the throttle bodies? have you watched the butterfly’s open and close with idle and throttle?

Did some tests this weekend. It is my STVA. It is intermittent, whenever I rock the stocket it would come on & off.

Gonna try & get some soldering done today.

Alright so finish soldering up & went for a quick ride. Fell all over in love with her again.

My STVA look surprisingly normal just looking at it. You won't guess something was wrong with it unless you did some tests on it. That's why I took so long because I just couldn't believe it was broken.

I added some wires to connect the points, a non solid connection would absorb the vibration better than a solid connection. See, I'm a better engineer than Suzuki.

No more light. Happy life!

I'm disappointed in Suzuki for such a design flaw.

Thanks for the help folks!

Looks like you had some trouble with the rivets.
I sure did. What was supposed to be a simple drill out end up being a mess. The rivet would spin while drilling. So end up using a cut-off disc from the other side. That was a mess too because it heat up so much it melted through the plastic.

So disappointed in myself.
