newbie here, was wondering if i can put lucas gas treatment in my bike. i use it in my car and truck and love it.

used some i got from the suzuki shop the other day and already ran it through and i really havent noticed a difference which hopefully mean my injectors were pretty clean anyways.

Yes, you can use them, but bear in mind those are usually designed for 20-gallon tanks, so don't pour the whole bottle in.

ha yeah i only used 4 oz of the 12 oz bottle. believe that was just a little more than it called for but i already ran it through so too late now...

yea i should not hurt it, my buddy put about half of one in before he realized what he was doing, and it didnt do anything different.

is that ANY fuel injector cleaner? or does it have to be for a bike?

pretty sure any will work fine.

As long as it would work for a sports car that would be running 91 octane (anything from a normal gas station pump) a bike is going to do just the same with the fuel as well as the cleaner.

Most name-brand gasoline these days have cleaner additives anyway. Like Chevron's Techron. Won't hurt to use an injector cleaner, but don't count on much if any improvement.

I only use an injector cleaner when its time for an oil change. Other than that just not putting cheap gas in it should be enough.

I use 1 gallon race fule to 3 gal of super every couple of tanks Smells good and runs great!!!:thumbup:

If you really want to clean out the bike, run some "sea foam" through it!

i used two ounces of lucas fuel injector cleaner in full tank and gained three miles to the gallon

yea seafoam is awesome, just make sure you dont use the whole bottle lol, one can should be good for three uses.

sea foam is the shit!! I use it for everything and it has never disappointed!!

if ur car has a ton of miles on it, seafoam it. Then go out and drive it like u stole it and see the smoke fly, and cars slam on there brakes lol.
