Some dbag in a truck bumped into me and knock me off the bike… minimal damage thanks to frame sliders, but this piece came off the front fender, and I would love to know what it is thanks.

edit: I had expected it to be part of the front fender assy but curiously it doesn't appear to be included with that.

Or if you want to ditch the reflectors, just buy another bolt like the one below it.

Many/most people replace that bolt and ditch the front side reflector.

I haven't got a ticket for it but I have caught grief from the highway patrol for removing my reflectors when I did the tidy-tail. That's why you might notice the small square red reflectors on the tail of my bike. Had one of the adhesive rectangular reflectors for trailers, so I hacked it in half with a hacksaw and stuck one on each side of the tail just to shut them up & not get pulled over for it.
