Gooday. I've been out of touch for a bit, and am wondering if Canada is still ahead of the US in new model acquisition. In the old days we used to get our bikes one year ahead of the US. We got the premier GSXR 750 in 85. Our bikes always had different colour schemes as well. I tried to research this on the net, but did not ask a dealer. (I live in an isolated oil community). We also used to get those very, very cool road legal 2 strokes. The 91 RGV 250 was simply art. Do these things still happen in Canada? I meant to ask this in the Canada regional section, but it looks like nobody goes there much. The basis of my question concerns the purchase of service manuals for older bikes. Thank you if anybody knows. I could just call a shop, but this is more fun.

I wouldn't say the Canadians get newer bikes ahead of us in the U.S., but Canadians to get a different mix. There is more of a market for some of the smaller bikes (below 600 cc) in Canada, so Canada gets more of the European models.
