Hello everyone. I am just wondering what the CCS is exactly. I started a tradition last year of making the trip to the AMA Superbike races up in Elkheart Lake, WI. Well the races this year are June 2-5. My first baby is due on May 29, thus keeping me from those races. Well to get on with my question, the Championship Cup Series is up in Elkheart Lake in April. What I am wondering is what this race is exactly and would it be a good alternative for this year??

the ccs or "championship cup series" is an amature racing organization similar to wera. while fun to go watch and support your local racers it's definatly not an ama level event. if you are jonesin to see some racin definatly go, and it is fun .... just dont expect the same caliber of racers or equipment as the ama guys.
