I have a question I hope you guys can help with. I purchased a 05 gsxr-600 that was sitting in a barn for three years. The guy only rode it for 268 miles...still had temp tag on it. After replacing fuel pump and refinishing the tank i flushed the oil out of engine twice. My question is......should I replace the fork and brake fluid? I know the engine oil broke down because it was cloudy but I am not sure of the brakes/fork. Any advise would be appreciated. any other concerns I should have with it sitting so long? The bike was covered and look brand new!:shifty PS. I am new to posting so be kind if I posted this in the wrong area or format!!

Wow once a year, can you explain this a little more never hear of that.
I change it out because it will absorbe moisture over time and it will turn a dark color. The moisture will lower the boiling point of the fluid but more important it will cause corrosion in the system. Its easy to change out takes me about 30 minutes to do the front and rear.
Did this answer your question?
