Ok, long ago a I had my oil changed with the initial 500 mile service and the retard at the shop tightend the f**k out of the plug. Hence I go to change it myself and a stripped pan occurs. I'm over that now and I had it repaired, there is a very slow drip now but nothing serious. (might be trading it in so need to fix) I now have a new pan and gasket, my only question is with removing the exhaust. I obviously have to take the fairings off, but can i get around taking the fan off or is it simple enought to take off.......it looks like it my get in the way. Oh 2003 GSXR 600.

unbolt the bottom of the radiator and swing it foward to clear the exaust. it might help to put duct tape on the inside of the radiator to prevent you from gacking up the fins on the radiator
