Has anyone replaced their coolant with a brand other than the bike came with? i have seen different coolant that is suppose to make the bike run cooler. is this a bad idea to change the type of coolant in the bike? Does anyone know the amount of coolant used to change the coolant?

any coolant will do as long as it is an antifreeze as well.the amount of a complete refill is about 2400 ml

As long as its Ok for aluminum.

Like water wetter? You can change it just make sure it has the anti rust inhibitors in it and for aluminum. Yes any coolant from a local MOTORCYLE shop should be fine.
