I was recently coming home from work, and was exiting a 2 lane offramp from a highway, when some guy lane changed right in front of me, and hit his brakes. I was only about 30 ft from him, so as I tried to swerve, I endowed the bike, and rear ended him.

After shedding a few tears for the bike, all I wanted to do was kill this guy, buy a few people told me to sit down on the grass, cause i had some pretty bad rashes on my arms and legs from flying over his car.

The bike before, when I was loving life...

Luckily, theres no side damage to the fairings, my frame sliders did their job. Best 30 bucks Ive spent.

My Forks bent, and punched my rad. So I basically need a whole front end, and rear subframe, cause it snapped.

Trying to decide to fix it for road, or just a stunt/track bike.

So you saved 1200 bucks or so? If you have full coverage, rip them off and say they were damaged...get back ups!

repair and start over, or track it up.... hmmm....

If the police deemed he was at fault, total it out, get a new streeter and you got a wonderful track bike started (mine was a totaled 600). If they claim "no fault" (which I HATE, no fault sounds a lot like "too lazy for paperwork" to me....) then you might as well fix her.

Either way, always sucks to hear the cagers get another one. Especially so when you consider most authority's outlook on our bikes. Best of luck, bro.

PS: You look geared up, how'd you get rashed? Burn through the leathers or what?

typically pipes facing rear will not be that loud until you pass. Since he rear ended the guy....not likely he heard his pipes. The whole loud pipes saves lives line is not always true. :)
+1 and also don't forget that some people are blasting their music in their cage.

Gear doesn't stop the rashing from what Ive seen, just helps it be a lot less severe
100% wrong, low quality gear perhaps. i suggest you watch some clips of racers going down at speeds over 170mph that ARE wearing the right gear. Get back on the bike ang go. Fall down on the street wearing a shirt and blue jeans at 30 mph....you WILL see the difference.
