So ive been looking and looking for a frame for my 02 750 and I just can't find one to fit. I finally found one on ebay with a title, guy wants 899 buy it now. Frame is perfect not bent or anything it just has a small dent in the side but the plastics will cover it. Now will this dent make it weaker or affect it at all? Think I should just go for it? Heres a couple pics...

That dent looks pretty big to me. I would not trust the frame. Whatever it was laid down into that hard to get that big a dent, I'm sure stressed the rest of the frame and welds. I would not trust that frame with my life.

I know it sucks that you havnt been able to find another frame, but its not worth risking your life on something youre not sure about. I'd say hold out and find a good one. GOOD LUCK

Most insurance companies will total a bike even if a weld has a single deep scratch. That dent is huge and would probably be the point at which the frame "tucks" in head on impact.

dent

might be a good bargaining chip for you. did they say how it was dented? i would say it would be fine. However, that would be a decision you have to make. it really takes a huge crash to break a frame. normal riding should not be a problem
