1. Has anyone ever changed their fuel tank cover? Not sure how much of a pain in the ass it may be. The diagram for it makes it look rather simple, but that could be deceiving.

2. I have a yellow 08 600. I was thinking about removing the silver fuel tank cover (which looks kinda out of place) and replacing it with one from a black 08 600. Any thoughts on how that would look? I think the black might look better?

shouldn't be that difficult.

Not hard at all , just take off that big allen head screw & prop it up & unscrew the 5 screws under it & replace it .

the only hard part is getting the damn velcro to line up if its not already on the new tank cover
