The short answer is yes, but the manual does place limitations on the ethanol content of the fuel. I think it's 10% for my K5. Check your service manual. The issue isn't so much the octane, but corrosion with high ethanol content. I know of people that do run it in gsxr's with no apparent bad effects.

So yeah...with 85% ethanol it would not be a good idea. I'm sure the models are not that far off from each other with the 10% limitation.
