During cold weather FI light goes off on my '06 750 when I start it. Then like clockwork, as soon as it gets hot like it is right now, my FI light starts to stay on. Not consistantly. It is very random. Like every 2nd or 3rd start. There is no degredation in performance. no sputtering. Nothing is nticable audibly or physically. It sounds and feels NORMAl. It's just that frigging light keeps popping on.

Remove the SET valve, cables, servo and cut one wire from harness and you problem will never happen again. I wish I could remember what thread, but if you do a search for SET valve removal someone did a complete walk through. I had the same problem on my 06 750 and this totally fixed it.

well I unhooked and unplugged the servo motor and cables from that flapper valve. Pulled the number 30 wire from the harness. And installed a power commander. So far everything seems to be working fine. drove about an hour and twenty minutes.
