$8k is a big drop don't ya think ? Look at the add on's. We're talking $1200 just for the exhaust and that along with the Power Commander and TRE are only weeks old. I'll tell you what...I'll throw in 2 Shoei RF1000 Voltage helmets (L & XL)<priced $400 each at and a Icon Hero leather jacket (size 48)> priced at $335, all for $10k

No 8k is a normal price for that bike especially with the 05's out, I bought my 04 10,500 OTD.

True...a new Gixxer runs about $10k-$10.5k but not with the extras.
I'll sell the bike for $8k without the extra (back to stock).
I can't take a $2k hit plus loose the money for the extra parts and acessories (aprox. $2400). Sorry.
P.S. 05s come out in March. <> Plus....you're in Reno.
If your friend wants a bike for the $8k range...see the stock Black&Yellow 02 750 for $7k posted.

Right. I mean the 1000s. I have mixed feelings about the 05.
I like the improvments that I've read about but the look takes getting used to.

Aftermarket parts do not add "value" to the bike.
Unless you find someone willing to pay you for what youve done [which might be easy, might not be], you might be better off making it stock again and selling the parts seperately.

My $.02

BTW, post it on www.streetknights.com in the South Florida section. Lots of traffic there and word of mouth might get it sold for you quicker. They are a pretty tight group and always talking to others looking for bikes.

Good luck
