Will the forks from a 06 gsxr 750 work on my 01 600? What will I need to do a swap? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have 45mm forks and the 06 has 50mm forks so you will need the forks, clip-ons, upper/lower triple, calipers, and wheel.

Thanks again you da man! I thought so there is the whole front end for sale - the uper tree and wheel for real cheap like 500... but dont know if I can swing it yet....

Good luck with the swap. Maybe you could swap with an 01-03 750 if you can find the entire frontend. The 01-03 750 had Showa forks which were better than the 1000 back in its time.

I have a buddy that has the 02 750 forks but that is all he has of them no trees no nothing else... we were gonna do that but was thinkin that they were diff. mm sizes...

They are different sizes, but finding the rest of the parts shouldn't be hard at all.

you can just about change ANYTHING with a little research on bearing sizes.......I can do some research on just about any swap with axle sizes, triple bearing sizes, etc..........let me know if I can help!

I don't know that part. But it should be as easy as going to the Suzuki website and looking up the specs.

You said the 750 forks were better than the 1000's? I needt to replace the forks on my 01 750, and saw a set of 02 1000 (Gold) on eBay. They are not as good as OEM 750 forks?

The 1000 forks are not as good but you won't notice if it's just you're street bike. I was speaking about the 750 Showa forks IF the rider was planning on doing a lot of trackdays or track only bike.

How about newer setups, with radial mounted brakes? Are all newer GSXR forks 50mm? Would rather not replace the triple tree because I just did the bearings, etc.
